AddMorePower at the ESRF User Meeting 2026

12 February, 2026

The AddMorePower consortium participated in the 36th annual User Meeting of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility on February 2-4 in Grenoble, France. The user meeting, featuring experts from academia, research institutes, and industry, served as a crucial forum for knowledge sharing, showcasing novel discoveries, and investigating innovative applications of synchrotron radiation in characterization technologies. Project partner Dr. Peter Imrich from Kompetenzzentrum Automobil- und Industrieelektronik GmbH (KAI) presented a keynote lecture in the plenary session, titled “Synchrotron-Based Characterization Methods in Power Semiconductor Research: Industry Insights and Use Cases”, while Dr. Cedric Corley-Wiciak from the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) gave a tutorial on scanning X-ray diffraction microscopy data analysis, one of the techniques explored within the AddMorePower project.

The conference offered a valuable chance to engage with fellow researchers, establish connections within the broader materials science community, disseminate project results and receive constructive feedback that will inform our project’s final stages.
